Auctions in South Florida May Help Those Inspired by the Film, Chef

Have you caught the latest film about the restaurant industry yet? It’s called Chef, takes place in South Florida and sports a lot of big name stars (e.g. Dustin Hoffman, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau). Rumor has it, the flick also has the potential to inspire wanna-be chefs to follow their dreams. Those that do find the quirky, feel-good film inspirational should consider attending auctions in South Florida.

Auctions in South Florida are great places to find used food trucks, smallwares, kitchen equipment and restaurant furnishings. So there’s a good chance that those hoping to follow in fictional Chef Carl Casper’s footsteps will find what they need amidst the auctioneers’ ongoing offerings. At least that is the case at Lauro Auctioneers. We hold many large and small auctions throughout South Florida, year round.

In June 2014, we auctioned off the contents of a 125-seat café as well as items taken from South Florida’s commercial bakeries, pizzerias, bars, full-service restaurants and once rockin’ nightclubs. Some of the items that attendees took a fancy to were grease hood fire suppression systems, large-scale drink machines, double-stack gas and glass electric convention ovens.

Furthermore, there were other items that went up onto the auction block that even non-chefs would have appreciated. On that list of items were stylish chandeliers, shelving units, planters, motor vehicles, boats and gently used Jacuzzis. For a complete listing of which items already sold at our auctions in South Florida and which ones are still on offer, check out our site’s calendar and highlights area.

At this point, there are a number of auctions in South Florida scheduled to take place in July, August and September. Plus, there are warehouses full of equipment that may be purchased in between our listed auctions too. To learn more about them, please contact us at Lauro Auctioneers.
